Private persons wishing to share their horses

The idea of this section is to time-share your horse, either entirely, (perhaps you are injured or have to work in
another area temporarily?), or just to share costs.

Afew things to bear inmind when sharing your horse:

1. Do you want someone just to hack out, or take your horse to shows?
2. Make a list of the things you want the person to be responsible for, including insurance, vets bills should he
    be injured when in the care of his new rider.
3. Ask the prospective applicants to ride for you, & decide if their riding experience is, in your opinion,
    suitable for your horse's temperament.
4. Make sure you sign an agreement – it is always better to have things on paper.
5. Do this as much for your protection, as for the person sharing your horse, as well as for the safety of the horse.
6. When emailing your info, it is a good idea to mention the area where your horse is, as people from far away
    will find it difficult to battle the traffic to get to you to ride!
